Fortnite save the world mod menu3/14/2024 I like to place floor spikes that have a healing perk on ramps near the objective to add a little buff to the objective's durability. I will pair them with wall dynamos, sound walls, and wall lights to add more damage. They can shoot over low walls, through windowed walls, and through ramps. You can place them every other tile because they have a zone they protect (two down, and an extra space around). I place ceiling electric fields two tiles up around the objective. Zappers do more damage than ceiling electric fields, but only hit one target so they're good for when a smasher makes it all the way to the objective. Above that ramp piece I'll tend to place a ceiling zapper. If I'm expecting a lot of smashers, I'll place a tar trap in front of the floor launcher but beware because they're notoriously lacking in durability. Right up against the objective I'll use floor launchers placed under a ramp to deflect husks away from the walls. On trap tunnel walls, I place sound walls at the entrance (or just outside of them) to get propanes to drop their tanks, then I go with wall darts or broadsides to decimate the husks as they walk through.Īround the objective, I use wall darts (three tile coverage) if I have open spaces of three to five tiles, so they overlap, and broadsides in spaces of two tiles so they overlap/bounce. If I don't use gas traps in a trap tunnel, I'll use ceiling electric fields, or alternate them.Īt the end of trap tunnels, I place wall launchers to push the husks back into the trap tunnel. Gas traps are most effective when husks are moving slowly, so it's always a decent play to place them together. Floor spikes snare husks, so they're good to pair with gas traps. In trap tunnels I will place floor spikes every other space. Place tire traps two to three tiles high.įreeze traps also direct husks, and I tend to place them at the start and/or end of trap tunnels, at the top of a ramp, or close the objective to stop husks in their tracks and push them back. Tire traps will redirect husks, so I place them with my back facing the direction I want the tires (and the husks) to go. Over ramps and uneven terrain: ceiling tire traps. It comes down to personal preference, so here is what I primarily rely on. Hope all this helps, lmk if u have any questions or if I've made any mistakes Wall lights, flame grill, floor spikes - collection book, flame frill and floor spikes are bad, wall lights are just a worse sound wall Heal pads and campfires - good for when you don't have a healing perk in your support loadout Tar pits - place a layer of these around the objective as they can stop a smashers chargeįloor launcher - place under a ramp near the objective to launch husks away (this ramp can also be paired with a wall dart and ceiling zapper for max effectiveness)Īnti air - place on top of the objective to protect from lobbers. Wooden floor spikes - good to spam on most floors, they are cheap to craft and slow (snare) enemies down Sound wall - great near the start of a trap tunnel to disarm propanes Wall spikes - can be perked for increased building health and then placed on the inside of the objective to increase the health of the walls (great for rtd of rtl) Can also be used to stun smashers if perked well Wall launcher - place these near the edge of the map or a pit or a cliff to knock husks out of play. Wall darts - these have 3 tiles of range meaning you can place them a safe distance away to protect from sploders, they can also shoot through ramps and over low walls NEVER place these facing outwards with no wall to bounce off These traps have a slight directional knockback in the direction of behind where u face as you place themĬeiling zappers - above a ramp, they are able to shoot through theseīroadside - place a pair of them on opposite walls, 1 or 2 tiles apart, this causes the cannonballs to bounce and therefore hit targets multiple times. Gas trap - very basic, 1 tile off the floor, best used in a 1 wide trap tunnelĬeiling electric field - 2 tiles off the floor (so sploders cant destroyit), good for both spawn traps and trap tunnelsĬeiling drop traps - 3 tiles off the floor (so sploders can't destroy them and so the tires bounce more), good for hills as they knock husks down hills PLACE WHILE FACING TOWARDS YOUR BASE. Assassin_843 had a great rundown of the traps.
